I started exploring the art of poetry when I spent three weeks off the radar in Cuba. Detached from society. Disconnected from technology. Just my thoughts and I.
I continued to write on my journey around South America, each poem accompanied by a photo. I came to realise how cathartic poetry is to express emotions. Also how powerful it is as a form of capturing memories. Photos capture a memory visually; poetry captures emotions and the way you are thinking at the time.
I am living in Berlin at the moment, still writing and have decided it is time to share the thoughts in my head.
Amazing photography
Very nice, with the different colours!
Nothing but quality. Have already picked which one I may get blown up to around poster size.
Which one Mum? So I know what to give you for Mother’s Day… ☺️
Incredible pictures! It’s fascinating that people’s lives there seem to mirror what I saw in China; half-finished buildings, roads torn up, sweeping tiles with water, and small local markets. Thanks for sharing.
